Red Tree Business Suites
Red Tree Business Suites is the brand name for a range of serviced office developments managed by Clyde Gateway.
The first of these opened as Red Tree Rutherglen in June 2011 following the £1.6million conversion of former housing offices at 24 Stonelaw Road, just a matter of yards from Rutherglen Main Street, and benefiting from the proximity of the railway station and the new Junction 2 of the M74. Within eighteen months, the eleven stylish units, ranging in size from 200 to 3000 square feet, were fully occupied and have remained that way almost ever since with firms and companies often on a waiting list to move in.
Red Tree Bridgeton followed in March 2013. Located at 33 Dalmarnock Road, and overlooking Bridgeton station, this saw the conversion of ground and upper floor shop premises which had lain empty for more than 20 years to be replaced by twenty five office suites and two shop units built at a cost of £3.6million including a contribution of £1.14m from the European Regional Development Fund. The development has been running consistently at between 60-75% occupancy since its opening.
The two Red Tree Developments have brought 120 jobs to the area and attracted a range of small and medium sized companies across many different sectors to the Clyde Gateway area for the first time.
The demand for the type of quality and affordability on offer at Red Tree has led Clyde Gateway to look at the possibility of a similar type of development at Shawfield with the added attraction of a riverside setting. Clyde Gateway will be submitting a planning application for Red Tree Shawfield in late 2015.
