OPEN DAY AND LAUNCH OF SUMMER PROGRAMME AT GLASGOW WOMEN’S LIBRARY

Glasgow Women’s Library, with its home in Landressy Street, Bridgeton, is the only Accredited Museum in the UK dedicated to women’s lives, histories and achievements, with a lending library and archive collections.

The Library offers a warm and friendly welcome to everyone with a range of exciting events, activities, courses and learning opportunities linked to its collections and will be proudly launching its Summer 2019 programme at an Open Day in Landressy Street on Thursday 23 May, between 1pm and 2.30pm and 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

Staff and volunteers will be on hand to chat about the Library – cake, tea, fruit and good chat are promised. The Open Day is free and no advance booking is needed.
