People and Places - Parkhead

The historic Parkhead Cross sits outside the boundary of Clyde Gateway, but a small part of the community, situated around the football stadium at Celtic Park lies inside our boundary.

The site that is bounded by London Road and Springfield Road is the location of the new National Indoor Sports Arena (NISA) and cycling velodrome, and preparation is already in hand for their construction.  Clyde Gateway will be working closely with the contractors to ensure that local people can benefit from the construction work and are well-placed to be employed within the facilities once they open.
