Early Action Physical Improvements (2008 - 2011)

One of our key strategic goals set by the partners is to deliver a Sustainable Place Transformation.

Much of this will be achieved by large-scale projects attracting investment and jobs, as well as through other infrastructure and environmental improvements we are delivering to make our communities more attractive in which to live and work.

Between 2008 and 2011, we completed work on four environmental improvement projects at Bridgeton Cross, Rutherglen Station, Tullis Street Memorial Gardens and the Calton Burial Grounds, as well as taking ownership of a newly constructed trade park in the Farme Cross area of Rutherglen.
