Clyde Gateway East
A 12 hectare close to Junction 2a of the M74 Motorway is the first development opportunity offered by Clyde Gateway.
Clyde Gateway East is a new strategic business park aimed at attracting light industrial and office-based companies to the are. It is a £35m devlopment on land that has lain unused for over 30 years.
In addition to being transformed into a major new employment zone, Clyde Gateway East will also provide additional benefits to the local community through the ceation of a specially designed safe and secure path through the centre of the site that will open up new walkways and cycle routes to and from the River Clyde.
The construction of the new Business Park at London Road began in mid 2010.
Two leading UK property agents - SCOT Sheridan and MEPC - concluded deals in July 2011 to invest £14m in Clyde Gateway East to build respectively, 60,000 square feet and 140,000 square feet of industrial units. SCOT Sheridan have already submitted a planning application to construct three separate buildings of 17,000 sq ft, 20,000 sq ft and 23,000 sq ft.

Clyde Gateway Trade Park
Located in the Farme Cross area of Rutherglen, this offers a total of 4000 square metres of industrial/warehouse/office space in up to 8 separate units, for sale or lease. The units were initially acquired to allow Clyde Gateway to make an attractive relocation offer to local firms whose former premises were affected by our regeneration activities
Clyde Gateway Trade Park has excellent road connections with access to Junction 2 of the M74 being less than half-a-mile away, while Rutherglen Station is just a five minute walk away.

Red Tree Business Suites
Red Tree Business Suites is the brand name attached to two seperate office developments being delivered by Clyde Gateway.
Red Tree Business Suites Rutherglen can be found at 24 Stonelaw Road, Rutherglen. Ten stylish and affordable high quality office suites, ranging in size from 197 square feet to 4811 square feet are available as a result of Clyde Gateway completing a £1.6 million conversion of the former South Lamarkshire Council Housing Offices. ERDF funding of £650,000 was made available for the project.
The work at Rutherglen was carried by Clark Contracts between November 2010 and May 2011, during which time four trainees from the Clyde Gateway were given a minimum of 13 weeks work experience.
Red Tree Business Suites Bridgeton will be built at 21-51 Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow and involves the conversion of upper floor shop premises that have lain empty for more than 20 years. Thirty office suites will be created across a range of sizes from 200 square feet upwards. The cost of the project is £3.6 million of which ERDF funding of £1.14 million was made available.
The work at Bridgeton is being carried out by Crudens over a twelve-month period that began in May 2011 during which time two jobs and one training place will be created for Clyde Gateway residents. In addition, Crudens will carry out some improvements to the Bridgeton Community Learning Campus in Dale Street.
