Strathclyde Police HQ
We are making extensive efforts to attract a significant, influential anchor tenant to south Dalmarnock - which will be the first to commit to our vision of long-term regeneration over the next two decades.
Work began in early 2010 on a detailed business case explaining the design and costs of a £37 million, 12,300 square-metre building on a site adjacent to the Clyde as a cost-effective head office and business hub for Strathclyde Police, for up to 800 officers and civilian staff.

In December 2010, the Clyde Gateway and Strathclyde Police Authority (SPA) boards approved a Development Agreement outlining the project's overall delivery - involving further detailed studies between January and September 2011 before the SPA decides whether to proceed.
In March 2011, before a planning application was submitted to Glasgow City Council, extensive consultation was carried out among residents and businesses by the SPA, Clyde Gateway and the design team on the proposed site on the south side of French Street bounded by the East End Regeneration Route, Reid Street and the River Clyde Walkway. Feedback was almost universally supportive.
