Happy
Healthy n Happy (HnH) is a popular and successful Community Development Trust with over twenty staff, thirty sessional workers and more than a hundred volunteers delivering activities for more than 6,000 people of all ages each year in Rutherglen and Cambuslang.
Clyde Gateway has been working alongside HnH since 2011 on a range of projects in the Burnhill area of Rutherglen.
Discussions on how we could jointly accelerate the physical, social and economic transformation underway led us to explore the possibility of purchasing a ‘B’ listed converted church building, located immediately off Rutherglen Main Street and leased by HnH, with the aim of donating it to the Trust so that it could expand its range of services and activities.
The new building, which is known as ‘Number 18’ after its number on Farmeloan Road, was officially opened on 9 October 2015.
